Liz Daniels

Director

Performing since an early age, Liz made her debut as a solo singer with the Glasgow Youth Choir in The City Hall Glasgow and then moved into amateur theatre where she has enjoyed many opportunities performing a number of principal theatre roles including Iolanthe - Iolanthe, Julie Jordan - Carousel, Fiona - Brigadoon, Hodel - Fiddler on the Roof, Kate - Kiss Me Kate, Magnolia - Show Boat, Erma - Anything Goes, Rosalia - West Side Story, Marie Dindon - La Cage aux Folles, Lady Battersby - Me and My Girl, the roles of Mrs Sowerberry and Widow Corney - Oliver!, General Cartwright in Guys and Dolls, Lady Thiang – The King & I and Mrs Potts – Beauty And The Beast.  As a solo concert performer her work includes The Sound of His Music accompanied by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and Sentimental Journey.  Other notable concerts include Scotland ‘Reaching Out for Africa’ at the Clyde Auditorium and Follies in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.  Directing for over 20 years, credits include Showboat, Calamity Jane, Me and My Girl, 42nd Street, Anything Goes, Crazy for You, The King & I, Oliver!, The Wizard of Oz, The Sound of Music, Fiddler On The Roof, Annie, Hairspray, Sunshine On Leith, Fame, The Full Monty, My Fair Lady and 9 to 5 and Sister Act. As Artistic Director for Tom Daniels Music, Liz directed seven concerts in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall including Young Variety 2012.  

Tom Daniels

Musical Director

Tom graduated in music from the University of Glasgow and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Since then, he has been musical director for a wide range of shows and concerts, conducting many different orchestras including the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.

Highlights as Musical Director and Conductor on the concert platform include Classic Musicals 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013, Young Variety 2012 and Musical Favourites at Christmas 2012 and 2013, all at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. In addition, he was Musical Director for Patti Boulaye’s Reaching out for Africa at the SECC Armadillo, working with acts such as Leo Sayer and Boney M, and the Variety Club of Scotland’s Young Variety at Heart - a showcase of Scotland’s young talent, once again at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. Tom was also delighted to be Chorus Master for Follies in Concert - a star-studded gala event in aid of NCH Scotland which also took place at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and featured a host of stars of stage and screen.

Tom was chosen to be the Musical Director and Conductor of the world premiere of Fame Forever –the sequel to the smash hit musical Fame, which was supervised and attended by the creator of Fame, David de Silva, the composer Steve Margoshes and Lyricist Ben Winters.

Marie-Anne McGrattan

Choreographer

Marie-Anne is a qualified dance teacher with the BATD and has been teaching dance since the age of 16. She went on to study Musical Theatre at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and has worked as a musical theatre tutor and drama teacher at various colleges and schools throughout Scotland including the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Hamilton Theatre Arts.

Marie-Anne was recently associate director for the Macrobert Arts Centre’s Christmas show – Eric the Elf. She was also assistant choreographer for their pantomime, Maw Goose, in 2022.

In 2021, Marie-Anne was assistant director for Peter Pan at Eastwood Park Theatre, Glasgow.

Marie-Anne has also developed strong connections with youth and adult amateur groups over the years, choreographing and directing shows including Grease, Sunshine on Leith, Bugsy Malone, 9-5, Back to the 80's, The Wizard of Oz, My Fair Lady, Our House and Carrie the Musical. She is extremely happy to have the opportunity to choreograph her third show with KAOS.
